in ulcerative colitis and to investigate its role involving pathological mechanisms. Methods: The ulcerative colitis model was induced by 2, 4, 6-trini-trobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS). Twenty-four SPF male Balb/c mice were randomly and equally divided into normal control group and model group. Rats were observed body weight changes, gross and histopathological changes. The TLR4 mRNA expression was detected by RT-PCR; The expression of NF-κB protein was detected by Western-blot; The expression of IL-6 in mice plasma was detected by ELISA method.
